MARLA BASS SINKO
Marla was born and raised in North Carolina. After obtaining her accounting degree from University of North Carolina in Wilmington, she relocated to West Virginia. Marla began her career at the Resort at Glade Springs in early 2000 as the membership director. In 2005, she began her real estate career, focusing on properties throughout Southern West Virginia and specializing in the Resort at Glade Springs. She has garnered several performance and achievement awards over the years. She lives with her husband, Jon, in the Resort at Glade Springs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, golfing and working out.
JON SINKO
Jon was born in Fair Oaks, California and educated at California State University, Sacramento. Jon has an extensive background in sales, marketing and the internet. Jon has been selling real in southern West Virginia for over six years and has won numerous sales achievement awards. Jon is married to Marla who is the broker in charge for Glade Springs Real Estate.
RICH FARHAT
Rich was born and raised in Northern California. After graduating from San Diego State University, Rich was a teacher and coach in the Sacramento County (CA) school system. He has been in land and home sales for 15 years, with the last 7 at Glade Springs. Rich enjoys sports, music, and travel. He lives in Beckley, WV.
CATHY SMITH
Cathy was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. She graduated from West Virginia University with an A.B. Degree in English and French. She moved to Raleigh County in the early 1970s, where she began her career in the Raleigh County School system, teaching English, French, and Journalism. Cathy began her real estate career in 2005, selling property exclusively in Glade Springs. When not showing property, Cathy is a renowned artist at Tamarack. She and her husband Clyde have lived in Glade Springs since 1983, where they have raised two daughters, Jennifer and Julienne.
JUDY HACKNEY
Judy was born and raised in West Virginia. She spent the first 20 years of her adult life raising her three children, Diane, Leigh, and Sandy. She began her real estate career in 1984 in Beckley, WV as an agent and broker. Over the years, she has won several performance and achievement awards. She is a past president of the Beckley Board or Realtors, and is currently serving on the Raleigh County planning commission. She has been at Glade Springs since 2004, where she resides with her husband, Ted.
TED IRBY
Ted was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. After graduating from high school, Ted attended the University of Arkansas, where he played tennis. Ted began his real estate career in 1973 with Cooper Land Development as an agent and broker. Ted’s career with Cooper spanned 38 years and various communities. He has been at Glade Springs since 2003. When not selling property, Ted spends his time hunting, fishing, and hosting barbeques (and other fun events).
DUKE JAMES
Duke grew up in West Virginia and graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1964. Duke has over 40 years experience selling luxury, oceanfront and other upscale properties, including the last 10 years at Glade Springs. When not showing properties, Duke enjoys fishing, traveling, and reading.
